Future Work

We currently have some exciting projects on the drawing board in locations including Paddington, Forestville, Bronte, Palm Beach and  Kirribilli.

A proposed three bedroom family home with studio and swimming pools located on the absolute Eastern edge of the Bronte Plateau. The building is a discerning dwelling which will focus on quality of detail and honesty in material. Sandstone quarried from the site, in addition to recycled timber, will be used throughout the home lending candor and integrity to the overall design. The built form frames the stunning ocean vista, whist providing a relaxed and comfortable living environment focussing on open plan living spaces filled with ocean breezes and natural light.

A proposed three bedroom house and studio with swimming pool located on the western side of the Palm Beach peninsular north of Sydney. A series of landscaped terraces and cantilevered building elements create a dramatic built form, where rooms relate to private internal courtyards, whilst also providing panoramic views across to Pittwater.

A proposed two bedroom house and study located in rural South Eastern New South Wales. The building is designed around courtyard which is formed by a partially inground concrete water tank, and oriented maximise solar exposure and provide views to the nearby watercourse. The site is without water and power supply and photovoltaic and rainwater collection systems have been incorporated within the structure to enable the clients to live self-suficiently 365 days a year.

Proposed Alterations and Additions to an existing terrace house in Paddington. The proposal attempts to improve the current amenity of the existing dwelling through removing the existing masonry rear walls, opening the ground floor living space to a new landscaped and timber deck garden, thereby engaging with the sandstone escarpment and encouraging the use of the rear outdoor area in addition to improving solar penetration to the dwelling.

Proposed alterations and additions to an existing two storey bedroom family home. The proposal involves minimal demolition of the existing structure thereby maximising the total project spend. Our proposal provides 4 bedrooms, generous kitchen/living area, home office/ study arranged around a central, internal courtyard and outdoor entertaining area with pool. The courtyard promotes cross ventilation and natural light deep within the plan.

With rigid time constraints for construction and the incorporation of a heritage listed building, we have produced a delicate yet bold approach. The client brief consisted of additional play space and a playroom whilst enhancing a relationship to the outdoors. CplusC’s unique approach to design and construction has provided a seamless process from inception to reality for this much needed space.
