The Alexandria project replaces a series of existing ad-hoc additions and creates new opportunities for access to natural light and improved natural ventilation. The proposal preserves the facade to the street, while opening up the internal spaces to the rear garden, with the removal of an existing double storey gable structure. The living area to the rear of the dwelling opens directly to the rear yard, with a pond and associated landscaping.
