Bexley Residence

Built by the client’s grandparents in the 1920s, renovations have transformed the original federation building into a light-filled contemporary home. The original house is now a private wing of bedrooms, with the new wing that opens up onto the pool and courtyard designed to accommodate up to 50 family members on special occasions. A custom-made jarrah dining table with complementing stools, designed and built by CplusC fit perfectly in the new dining area. Under-floor heating and thermal mass from the polished concrete floor keeps the home warm in winter. Cross breezes flow across courtyard pond and through the home keeping it cool and comfortable in the summer months.
